When Your World Shakes!2 Samuel 6:6-7 describes an incident that took place when King David was moving the ark of God from the house of Obededom.”It reads, "And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it. 7 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God."
There are times in life, when things that are precious to us shake. The ark of God was very precious to Israel, but yet still it shook.
Sometimes, things that are precious to us shake, or go out of our control. It could be a business, a ministry, a relationship, career or your finances. Naturally, we try and control them to maintain the status quo. It is not everything you must try to save or control, because sometimes the thing you save will destroy you.
God slew Uzzah, because it was an error to control what God was shaking.
PRAY FOR DISCERNMENT TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHAT GOD IS SHAKING, BECAUSE SOME SHAKING IS MEANT TO PRESERVE YOUR LIFE!
